It's a win-win situation for Afua Asantewaa and Ghanaian artists, sponsors and Ghanaians in General.
If she's able to achieve it (which I am highly hopeful for) this is what it means:
1: she would put Ghanaian music on a certain scale
2. Artistes can boast of their songs being part of a record-breaking event
3. Some songs would receive an additional streaming boost which would translate into royalties
4. Artistes with proper and active publishing networks would receive publishing royalties from this
5. It will give feminists an extra voice to use this to push their agenda
6. YouTube content curators can get a revenue split with music content owners when uploaded to their portals
7. Someone may find his or her future partner at the event grounds
8. Someone would be cheated on by their partner during the event because different specs would be there.
9. Sponsors will get their fair share of visibility
The thing deɛ it's plenty but this is the few I can remember right now.
